4. Remuneration & Pay Scale Structure

5. Eligibility Criteria, Qualifications & Experience
All applicants must fulfill both the educational percentage criteria and specific outdoor field experience parameters:
A. Educational Qualification
- Degree Required: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Technology in Mechanical / Production / Production & Industrial / Manufacturing / Mechanical / Railways / Mechatronics & Automobile Engineering (or combination in part or whole) recognized by AICTE.
- Percentage Criteria: Minimum 60% marks (First Class) for UR/EWS candidates (and reserved candidates applying against UR posts). Minimum 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates applying against reserved posts.
- Equivalent Qualification: Sections A & B examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) is also accepted.
B. Post-Qualification Work Experience (Minimum 2 Years)
- Candidates must possess at least 2 years' post-qualification outdoor work experience in production, mechanical maintenance, or other mechanical engineering operations.
- The candidate must have physically worked at a project site, factory, or plant during these 2 years.
- Exclusions: Academic, teaching, internship, fellowship, or PhD research experience will NOT be counted. However, Apprenticeship training under The Apprenticeship Act 1961 in the relevant discipline will be considered valid experience.

- Maximum Age Ceiling: 32 Years for General (UR) category candidates.
6. Mandatory Age Relaxations & Concessions
Upper age ceiling flexibilities are provided in accordance with Central Government guidelines upon submitting prescribed certificates:
- SC / ST Category: 5 Years upper age relaxation.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Category: 3 Years upper age relaxation.
