4. Remuneration & Salary Structure
The selected candidates will be offered a highly competitive compensation package in Pay Level 10.
- Pay Level: Level 10
- Basic Pay Scale: ₹ 56,100 - ₹ 1,77,500
- Initial Approximate CTC: ₹ 15.68 Lakhs per annum
- Compensation Components: Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, and National Pension System (NPS).
- Additional Benefits: Ex-Gratia for academic pursuit, Leave Travel Concession (LTC), Gratuity, and other benefits as per ICAI service conditions.
5. Job Profile & Desirable Skills
The incumbent will support ICAI's committees, boards, and departments. The responsibilities are broad and include Technical Research, Taxation Policy Advisory, Review & Oversight, Disciplinary Functions, Capacity Building, and Administrative Support.
Desirable Skill Sets:
- In-depth knowledge of Accounting/Auditing/Financial Reporting, Direct/Indirect Tax laws.
- Strong research and drafting abilities for technical papers, policy notes, and standards.
- Analytical skills for compliance and regulatory evaluation.

- Technical Section (MCQ): Accounting Standards, Advanced Auditing, Assurance and Professional Ethics, Financial Reporting, Corporate and Other Laws, Financial Management and Strategic Management, Direct Tax Laws and International Taxation, Indirect Tax Laws, Information Systems.
8. General Conditions & How to Apply
Candidates must follow these steps and conditions to submit their applications:

- Ensure you fulfill the eligibility criteria (Chartered Accountant, Max Age 25 as on 30.06.2026).
