1. Important Dates and Schedule

Aspirants must strictly adhere to the application timeline. Late submissions via the Google Form will not be accepted under any circumstances.

2. Category-Wise Vacancy Breakdown

A total of 32 Junior Resident (Non-Academic) vacancies have been announced. A 4% reservation for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) applies on a horizontal basis.

3. Eligibility and Qualifications

The educational and professional requirements for the post are clearly defined to ensure a high standard of clinical care.

• Essential Qualification: Candidates must have passed MBBS (including successful completion of Internship) or an equivalent degree.
• Mandatory Registration: The MBBS degree must be recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or a State Medical Council. NMC/State Registration is strictly mandatory before joining the post.
• Exclusion Criteria: Candidates who have already completed 03 terms of Junior Residency (Non-Academic) either at an AIIMS institute or outside will not be considered for selection.

• Maximum Upper Age Limit: 30 Years.
• SC/ST Category: Upper age relaxed by up to 5 Years.
• OBC Category: Upper age relaxed by up to 3 Years.
• PwD Candidates: Age relaxation is 10 years for General, 13 years for OBC, and 15 years for SC/ST categories.

5. Pay Scale and Contract Tenure

Selected Junior Residents will be compensated under the standard 7th Central Pay Commission guidelines tailored for central healthcare institutions.

• Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 56,100/- (Level-10, Cell No. 01 As per 7th CPC).
• Additional Perks: The salary will be supplemented by standard allowances, including Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA), if applicable.
• Nature of Appointment: Purely temporary and contractual for an initial period of 06 months. This may be extended to a maximum period of 01 year based on institutional requirements.
• Working Conditions: The role is a full-time appointment. Private practice of any kind is strictly prohibited. Duties include shift rotations in Wards, OPD, Casualty, Trauma, and Rural/Urban health centers.

7. Step-by-Step Application Process

The application process is semi-digital. Candidates must submit their details online and present physical documents on the interview date.

1. Step 1: Fee Payment: Execute the NEFT transfer as per your category and securely save the UTR reference number and date.
2. Step 2: Google Form Submission: Click the official Google form link provided in the notification. Fill out the details accurately before 05:00 PM on 29th May 2026.
3. Step 3: Print Annexure-I: Download the official notification PDF, navigate to Annexure-I, print the blank application form, and fill it completely using a blue/black pen. Affix a recent passport-size photograph.
