3. Essential Qualifications & Age Limits

Trained Graduate Teacher (Computer Science) - Post Code 41/26
- Qualification: BCA from a recognized university OR Graduation in Computer Science (studied in all years as a main subject) OR BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT OR Graduation in any subject with an 'A' level course from DOEACC.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years (relaxable for Government Servants up to 5 years).
Special Educator (Primary) - Post Code 44/26
- Qualification: 12th passed AND Two-year D.Ed Special Education OR One-year Diploma in Special Education OR any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI. Must be qualified in CTET (Primary stage) and registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years (relaxable for government servants up to 5 years).
Junior Scientific Assistant (Various) - Post Codes 21/26 to 31/26
- Qualification: Master's degree in the relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Zoology/Botany for Biology; Physics/Mathematics for Ballistics; Chemistry/Toxicology for Chemistry; Psychology/Criminology for Lie-Detection) from a recognized University. BE/B.Tech in Biotechnology or Computer Science/IT/ECE is acceptable for specific sub-codes.
- Age Limit: Between 18 to 27 years.
I.T. Assistant Grade - A - Post Code 34/26
- Qualification: 12th Standard pass from a recognized institution/board. Should possess a typing speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (26.67 WPM) for Data Entry work and qualify the Aptitude Test.
- Age Limit: Below 27 years.
4. Application Fee Details
Fee payment must be transacted securely via the online network integrated within the portal system.
- General, OBC, and EWS Male Candidates: ₹ 100/- (One Hundred only).
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, PwBD, and Ex-Serviceman categories: Completely Exempted from paying application fees.
- Mode of Payment: Requisite fees must be paid only through SBI e-pay. Other modes will not be accepted.
5. Examination Scheme & Selection Criteria
DSSSB enforces a highly disciplined screening system comprising objective computer-based tests.
- One Tier Schemes: The evaluation carries 200 questions totaling 200 marks over a duration of 2 hours.
- Section A (General/Technical/Teaching): Evaluates General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension, and Test of English Language & Comprehension. (Mapped at 40 marks each for General posts, and 20 marks each for Technical/Teaching posts).
- Section B (Technical/Teaching): Features 100 questions mapping domain-specific topics from the subject concerned, including teaching methodology or B.Ed. parameters where applicable.
- Negative Marking: A penalty deduction of 0.25 marks will be enforced for each wrong Multiple Choice Question answer.
- Minimum Qualifying Thresholds: General/EWS (40%), OBC-Delhi (35%), SC/ST/PH-PwBD (30%). Ex-Servicemen receive a 5% relaxation in their respective categories subject to a baseline floor of 30%.
