2. Important Dates & Timelines

3. Post-Wise Vacancy Breakdown

The indicative category-wise vacancies are pooled from multiple participating banks (such as Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, PNB, Central Bank of India, etc.). Please note that these numbers are indicative and subject to change based on actual requirements reported by the banks.

*Note: For the Marketing Officer role, zero vacancies have been currently reported by the participating banks in the indicative table, however, candidates can still apply as banks may report vacancies dynamically at a later stage.

Pay Scale Structure

• Basic Pay Scale: ₹ 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920.
• The officials will be eligible for allowances and perquisites as per the rules of the respective Participating Bank in force from time to time.

4. Essential Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must calculate their Age as on 01.07.2026 and possess their final educational results declared on or before 21.07.2026.

A. Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 20 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years (Must have been born between 02.07.1996 and 01.07.2006).
• Age Relaxations: SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), PwBD (10 years), and Ex-Servicemen (5 years) as per standard government guidelines.

B. Educational Qualifications

• IT Officer (Scale-I): 4-year Engineering Degree in CS/IT/Telecommunications/Electronics OR Post Graduate Degree in relevant IT fields OR Graduate passing DOEACC 'B' level.
• Agricultural Field Officer (Scale-I): 4-year Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science / Dairy Science / Fishery Science / Agri. Engineering, etc.
• Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale-I): Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level OR PG in Sanskrit with English and Hindi at the degree level.
• Law Officer (Scale-I): Bachelor Degree in Law (LL.B) and enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council.
• HR/Personnel Officer (Scale-I): Graduate + Two Years Full-time PG Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management / IR / HR / Social Work / Labour Law.
• Marketing Officer (Scale-I): Graduate + Two Years Full-time MMS (Marketing) / MBA (Marketing) / PGDBA / PGDBM with a specialization in Marketing.

Note: For posts other than IT Officer, candidates should possess a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language or should have studied Computer/IT as a subject in High School/College.

5. Application Fee Details

The application fees must be paid online via debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, or UPI between 01.07.2026 and 21.07.2026.

6. Scheme of Examination

The recruitment process involves a strict penalty of 0.25 marks deducted for every wrong answer in both the Preliminary and Main Objective exams.

Phase I: Online Preliminary Examination

• For IT, Agri, HR, and Marketing Officers: Consists of English Language (25 marks), Reasoning (25 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (25 marks), and Professional Knowledge (50 marks). Total duration: 80 minutes.
• For Law Officer & Rajbhasha Adhikari: Consists of English Language (25 marks), Reasoning (25 marks), General Awareness with Banking reference (25 marks), and Professional Knowledge (50 marks). Total duration: 80 minutes.

Phase II: Online Main Examination

• For IT, Agri, HR, and Marketing Officers: Features an objective Professional Knowledge test (100 marks) along with English, Reasoning, and Quant sections. Plus, a Descriptive English Paper (25 marks). Total duration: 155 minutes.
• For Rajbhasha Adhikari & Law Officer: Similar structure with specific focus on Professional Knowledge (Objective and Descriptive tests) alongside general sections. Total duration: 155 minutes.
• Important: Only the marks obtained in the Main Examination (Professional Knowledge) will be considered for shortlisting for the Interview and for Final Merit Listing.

7. Step-by-Step Online Application Protocol

Before applying, ensure you have active email ID, mobile number, and scanned copies of all required documents.

1. Document Preparation: Prepare scanned files for your Passport Photo (20-50kb), Signature in black ink (10-20kb), Left Thumb Impression in black/blue ink (20-50kb), and a Handwritten Declaration (50-100kb). Also, scan your 10th standard certificate.
2. Handwritten Declaration Text: "I, (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required." (Must not be in ALL CAPS).
3. Registration: Visit www.ibps.in, click on "CRP SPL", and select the link "CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-SPECIALIST OFFICERS (CRP SPL-XVI)". Click on "New Registration".
4. Live Photo Capture: You will be required to capture and upload a live photograph using your webcam or mobile phone during the online process.
5. Submit & Pay: Fill in all details carefully. Submit the application and pay the required fee online via the integrated payment gateway.
6. Save Confirmation: After successful payment, download the e-receipt and the final system-generated application form for your records.
