3. Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

To be eligible for the Community Bank Co-ordinator position, applicants must fulfill specific conditions mandated by TNSRLM:

Age Limit

• Candidates must be below 35 years of age as of the date of application.

Educational & Technical Qualifications

• Education: Must have passed the 12th Standard. In hilly/tribal areas, if 12th pass candidates are unavailable, 10th pass candidates may be considered with special permission from the District Collector.
• Language Skills: Must be proficient in reading, writing, and arithmetic in both Tamil and English.
• Technical Skills: Must possess basic computer knowledge. Candidates should own an Android smartphone and be capable of using apps, sending SMS, and using WhatsApp.
• Mobility: Preference will be given to candidates who know how to ride a two-wheeler and hold a valid driving license.

Experience & Membership Requirements

• The candidate must be a female member of a Self Help Group (SHG) belonging to the Panchayat Level Federation.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as an SHG Animator/Promoter.
• Must be a resident of the same village panchayat(s) where the vacancy exists.
• Should belong to the target group identified through Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). (If no eligible candidate from the target group applies, others may be considered).
• Must not be an existing full-time employee of any community-based organization or private company.
• Must not be a member of an SHG that has non-performing assets (NPA) or loan defaults.
• Special Exception: In tribal settlements in hilly areas, if no eligible female candidate is available, a male member may be selected with the special approval of the District Collector.

4. Salary & Honorarium Details

The Community Bank Co-ordinators will be provided financial compensation structured under the TNSRLM guidelines:

• Basic Honorarium: A basic monthly honorarium of Rs. 2,500/- will be released from the Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Mission to the District Mission Management Unit, which will then be disbursed through the respective Panchayat Level Federation.
