2. Vacancy Details & Stipend
The Central Bank of India has distributed the 4,500 apprentice vacancies across all states and Union Territories in India. Furthermore, horizontal reservation is applicable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

3. Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit
All candidates must verify that they fulfill the age and academic conditions as of the strict cut-off date: 31 May 2026.
Age Limit (As on 31.05.2026)
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 28 Years
- Candidates must have been born between 31.05.1998 and 31.05.2006 (both days inclusive).
- Age Relaxations: SC/ST candidates get a 5-year relaxation, and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates get a 3-year relaxation. Additional relaxations apply for PwBD and legally separated/widowed women as per Govt. of India rules.
Educational Qualification
- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University by the Govt. of India.
- Important Condition: Candidates must have completed their graduation on or after 01 January 2022.
- Candidates who have already had training or job experience for one year or more after their graduation are NOT eligible to apply.

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid through the online BEEP portal. An 18% GST is applicable over the base fee.

5. Screening & Selection Procedure
The selection evaluates candidates purely on an online objective examination followed by local language proficiency.
- Online Examination: A 60-minute objective-type test consisting of 100 questions (General/Financial Awareness, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, General English, and Central Bank of India Products & Services). There is NO negative marking for wrong answers.
- Test of Local Language: Candidates applying for training seats in a particular state should be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the specified local language of that state. Candidates presenting 10th or 12th standard mark sheets having studied the local language are exempt from this test.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original certificates (Date of Birth, Mark sheets, Caste Certificate, EWS Certificate, etc.) at the Regional/Zonal office.
- Medical Fitness: Final engagement is strictly subject to the candidate being declared medically fit.

The application requires interaction with two distinct online portals to complete the apprenticeship registration successfully.
- Step 1 (NATS Portal): Candidates must first register themselves on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at nats.education.gov.in. Create a student login and note down your unique Enrolment ID.
- Step 2 (Apply on NATS): After logging into the NATS portal, locate and apply for the Apprenticeship Advertisement of "Central Bank of India".
