Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a Miniratna Category-I Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, has released Advt No. BDL/C-HR (TA & CP) /2026-1. BDL is inviting eligible Indian Nationals for a Walk-in Interview to fill 20 Project Engineer positions.
These positions are available in the disciplines of Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science. The engagement is strictly on a temporary (contract) basis, initially for one year, but extendable up to four years based on organizational requirements and individual performance. The place of work will be the BDL - Project Office, ADE, Bengaluru, though candidates may be posted anywhere in India as per requirement.

3. Remuneration & Allowances
Project Engineers will be engaged on a contract basis with an increasing remuneration scale over the years.

- Additional Allowance: Besides the consolidated monthly remuneration, an amount of Rs. 10,000/- per year will be paid towards expenses like Medical Insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc. This is paid in two installments (50% in the first month and 50% after 11 months).
4. Educational Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must satisfy the required academic and experience parameters as on the cutoff date of 07.05.2026.
Essential Qualification
- Degree Requirement: First Class (60% marks in aggregate for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS; 55% for SC/ST against reserved posts) in BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engg (4 years)/Integrated M.E./M.Tech course or equivalent in relevant discipline (Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Science) from an AICTE-approved Institute/University.
- No rounding off of percentage is allowed (e.g., 59.99% will not be considered 60%).
Post-Qualification Experience
- Minimum Requirement: Candidates must have a minimum of one (01) year of post-qualification experience in the relevant industry.
- Electronics: Experience in Embedded systems, RF, Power Electronics, LabVIEW, FPGA, C, C++, software development with weapon checkout systems.
- Mechanical: Experience in CAD Software (Solid works, Auto CAD, CATIA, MATLAB), FEA, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, 3D Modelling, Project Management, Quality Control.
- Computer Science: Experience in developing Application Software for weapon systems using FPGA/VHDL, C, C++, PYTHON, ADA, NI, Software Testing Tools (LDRA, POLYSPACE).
- Note: Academic/Teaching/Internship/Project Work experience will not be considered as industrial experience.
5. Upper Age Limits & Relaxations
The upper age limit is reckoned as on 07.05.2026.
- UR / EWS: 28 Years
- OBC (NCL): 31 Years
- SC / ST: 33 Years
- PwBD: Relaxable by 10 years over and above the regular category relaxation.
- Ex-Servicemen: Relaxed by the length of military service increased by three years.
6. Selection Criteria & Weightage
Selection will be based on the order of merit calculated out of a total of 100 marks.

Candidates must bring the Originals and One set of Self-Attested Photocopies of the following documents to the interview venue:
- Duly filled-in Bio-Data Form (Annexure-I of the official notification) with a recent passport color photograph affixed.
- Proof of Date of Birth (SSC Certificate / Matriculation Mark sheet).
- AADHAR card.
- Intermediate / XII / Diploma in Engg. Certificate & Marks Memo(s).
- BE/B.Tech/B.Sc.Engg. Certificate & Marks Memo(s).
- Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD/EX-Servicemen), if applicable. OBC-NCL certificate should be issued on or after 01-04-2026.
- Copy of Experience Certificate indicating Date of Joining and Date of Leaving / Offer of Appointment.
- Last 03 months Pay Slip.
- Mandatory Salary Proof Document: Salary received Bank Statement / PF Statement / ESI Statements for the claimed experience period.
- Percentage equivalent Certificate or Qualifying degree specialization certificate (if applicable).
