Pay Scale & Grade Details

  • Basic Pay Scale: ₹ 64820-2340/1-67160-2680/10-93960.
  • Special Allowance: Officials will be eligible for a Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) @ 20% of Basic Pay.
  • Higher Start: One increment for candidates with a post-graduate diploma, and two increments for those possessing an MS/MD degree or equivalent.

4. Educational Qualifications & Work Experience

Candidates must possess the stipulated educational and experience criteria as on 31.05.2026. Experience gained during the medical internship phase will not be counted towards eligibility.

  • Maximum Age: 35 Years. (Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 to 15 years for PwBD candidates is applicable).
  • Basic Educational Qualification: MBBS from any recognized university or college approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council. (Post Graduate Diploma or Post Graduate Degree of MD/MS is preferred).
  • Work Experience for MBBS degree holders: Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Practitioner, reckoned from the date of NMC/State Medical Council registration.
  • Work Experience for PG degree holders: Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Practitioner, reckoned from the date of NMC/State Medical Council registration.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in reading, writing, and understanding the opted local language of the specific Circle/Office.
