4. Scale of Pay & Perquisites

Local Bank Officers are appointed in JMGS-I grade. The pay scale structure is defined as follows:

  • Pay Scale: ₹ 48480 - 2000/7 - 62480 - 2340/2 - 67160 - 2680/7 - 85920.
  • Allowances & Benefits: Dearness Allowance (DA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) / Leased Accommodation, Leave Fare Concession (LFC), Medical Insurance, and Retirement Benefits as per PNB rules.
  • Advance Increments: Officers with prior completed service as an Officer in Scheduled Commercial Banks (SCBs) are eligible for up to 02 advance pay increments if their previous job role matches Scale-I Generalist Officer profile.
