1. Consolidated Vacancy & Pay Level Matrix

The 106 vacancies are distributed across multiple regional benches of the NCLT. Note that the vacancy position is tentative and may increase or decrease.

2. General Eligibility & Deputation Conditions

Because these positions are filled strictly on a deputation/absorption basis, there are rigid bureaucratic prerequisites that all candidates must meet:

• Initial Deputation Term: The appointment on deputation will initially be for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
• Absorption Potential: The absorption of an officer/official into the NCLT can be considered only after one year of working on deputation, subject to satisfactory performance and NCLT's operational needs. Absorption is not an automatic right.
• GPRA Facility Rules: Officers joining NCLT who are already availing General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) in their parent body are allowed to continue the benefit. However, officers not currently availing GPRA in their parent body will not be eligible to apply for it upon joining NCLT.
• Withdrawal Constraints: Candidates who apply for these posts will not be allowed to withdraw their applications subsequently. Candidates unwilling to join upon selection are strictly advised not to apply.
• Promotion Restrictions: Departmental officers in the feeder grade who are in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists are not eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

3. Post-Wise Specific Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold analogous posts on a regular basis in their parent cadre or possess a specific number of years of regular service in the immediate lower pay matrix level.

Registrar Profiles (Joint / Deputy / Assistant)

• Must be officers of the Central/State Governments, UTs, Courts, Tribunals, or Statutory Organizations.
• Joint Registrar: Must hold an analogous post OR Level 12 with 5 years regular service OR Level 11 with 10 years regular service. Must possess a Degree in Law and experience in personnel/administrative matters.
• Deputy Registrar: Must hold an analogous post OR Level 11 with 5 years regular service. Must possess a Degree in Law and experience in administrative/establishment/court matters.
• Assistant Registrar: Must hold an analogous post OR Level 9/10 with 5 years regular service OR Level 8 with 6 years regular service OR Level 7 with 7 years regular service. Must possess a Degree in Law and administrative/court experience.

Programmer

• Must hold an analogous post OR Level 8 with 2 years regular service OR Level 7 with 3 years regular service.
• Must possess a B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or IT OR Master of Computer Applications (MCA).

Private Secretary & Stenographer Grades

• Private Secretary: Must hold an analogous post OR Level 7 with 2 years service OR Level 6 with 6 years service. Must possess skill norms: Dictation @ 110 WPM (English) and transcription on computers at 55 WPM.
• Stenographer Grade-I/PA: Must hold an analogous post OR Level 5 with 6 years service OR Level 4 with 10 years service. Must possess skill norms: Dictation @ 100 WPM (English) and transcription at 50 WPM on computers.

Staff Car Driver

• Drawn from regular Dispatch Riders/Multi-Tasking Staff in Level-1.
• Must have passed the 10th standard.
• Must possess a valid driving license for motor cars.
• Must have knowledge of motor mechanisms to rectify minor defects.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience driving a motor car.

4. Upper Age Limits

The age criteria for deputation posts across all Central Government frameworks are uniformly capped.

• Maximum Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation to all the aforementioned posts is capped at 56 years.
• Cut-Off Date: The age will be calculated strictly as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

5. Step-by-Step Offline Application Guide

Because these are deputation posts, applications must be routed rigorously through proper administrative channels. Direct applications sent without cadre clearance will be summarily rejected.

1. Download the Proforma: Obtain the official application proforma (Annexure-II) from the NCLT website or the official PDF.
2. Fill Out the Bio-Data: Complete the Bio-data form meticulously, detailing your present employment, pay level, and specific experience mapping to the eligibility criteria. Attach a self-attested passport-size colored photograph.
3. Collate Supporting Documents: Attach attested photocopies of your educational certificates (including your Bachelor's degree where essential).
4. Secure Departmental Clearances: This is the most critical step. Your current Employer/Head of Office/Forwarding Authority must provide the following:
   • A Cadre Clearance Certificate stating you will be relieved immediately in the event of selection.
   • Attested photocopies of the APARs/ACRs for the last 5 years (attested by an officer of the rank of Under Secretary or above).
   • A Vigilance Clearance Certificate and an Integrity Certificate.
   • A certificate detailing any major/minor penalties imposed on you during the last 10 years.
5. Dispatch the Dossier: The complete application package, routed through the proper channel, must be sent to the following address:
