2. Vacancy Breakdown & Remuneration

The vacancies are categorized based on two specific Post Codes, each with distinct posting locations and reservation criteria.

Vacancy Distribution & Locations

Note: 4% of the posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). Candidates can apply for unreserved posts if they meet the UR eligibility criteria.

Remuneration & Allowances

• Consolidated Monthly Remuneration:
  • 1st Year: ₹ 40,000/-
  • 2nd Year: ₹ 45,000/-
  • 3rd Year: ₹ 50,000/-
  • 4th Year (if extended): ₹ 55,000/-
• Additional Allowances: A consolidated amount of ₹ 12,000/- per year will be paid towards the reimbursement of expenses like medical insurance premium, life insurance premium, uniforms, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.
• Retention Bonus: Project Engineers who complete an overall tenure of 4 years will be entitled to a retention bonus of ₹ 25,000/- for every completed year. This total amount of ₹ 1,00,000/- will be payable only at the end of the 4th year.

3. Age Limit & Educational Qualifications

Age Limit (As on 01.06.2026)

The upper age limit for General and EWS candidates is 32 Years. Age relaxations are applicable as per Government guidelines:

• OBC Candidates: 3 Years relaxation (Upper age limit 35 years).
• SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years relaxation (Upper age limit 37 years).
• PwBD Candidates (minimum 40% disability): 10 Years relaxation in addition to their respective category relaxation.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Full-Time BE / B.Tech degree with a minimum Pass Class in the relevant disciplines mentioned below:

4. Post Qualification Experience Requirements

All applicants must possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience as of 01.06.2026.

• For PRE-I (SSI-2026): Experience in the installation and commissioning of Electronic/Electrical systems projects. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Data network, VSAT communication, RHEL operating systems/Server storage, and Voice & Video Networking.
• For PRE-I (TSCS-2026): Experience in the installation and commissioning of Electronics/Electrical systems and integration of Electronic/Embedded systems for any projects.

Important Experience Guidelines

• Only relevant post-qualification experience will be considered. Work experience gained prior to completing the required degree will not qualify.
• Teaching/Research work, experience in non-profit organizations, and internship/project work placements (as part of academic curriculum) will not be considered as valid experience.
• Candidates must possess clear experience certificates from previous and current employers indicating the exact period of employment and post held.

5. Selection Procedure & Syllabus Details

The selection process consists of two stages: a Written Test followed by a Personal Interview.

• Written Test (85 Marks): Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be called for a Written Test.
• Personal Interview (15 Marks): Candidates who clear the written test will be shortlisted for the interview in a ratio of 1:5 based on category-wise vacancies.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

• General/EWS/OBC Candidates: 35% in both the Written Test and Interview.
• SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: 30% in both the Written Test and Interview.

Note: The venue for the Written Test and Interview will be intimated later via email.

6. Application Fee & Payment Process

The application fee must be remitted strictly through the SBI Collect portal (online or via SBI Branch challan). Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Payment Instructions (SBI Collect)

• Access the SBI Collect portal using the specific corporate ID link provided in the official notification.
• Select Payment Category: RECT OF PRE-I/NS1-2026.
• Candidates can pay online or generate a pre-printed challan to pay at any SBI branch (ensure branch seal and signature are obtained).
• Ensure you enter the SBI Collect Reference No. generated after payment into your online application form.
• Crucial: The mobile number and email ID entered in the SBI Collect portal MUST match the ones provided in the BEL online application form.

7. Step-by-Step Online Application Protocol

Applications must be submitted exclusively via the online portal. Hard copy applications are not accepted.

1. Preparation: Gather all necessary documents including Age proof (SSLC/Matriculation), 12th/Diploma marks cards, all BE/B.Tech semester marks cards, Final/Provisional Degree, Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable), and Experience Certificates.
2. Payment: If applicable, complete the fee payment via SBI Collect and note down the Reference Number.
3. Registration: Visit the BEL official website (https://bel-india.in) and click on the relevant application link under the Careers section.
4. Form Filling: Enter all required details accurately. Ensure specialization matches your degree certificate.
5. Document Upload: Upload scanned copies of all required documents in the prescribed format. If you lack a current employment certificate, you must upload the current offer letter, employee ID proof, and latest pay slip.
6. NOC: Candidates currently working in PSUs/Govt. organizations must submit a 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) at the time of application or during the interview.
