1. Important Dates and Deadlines

2. Post-Wise Vacancy Breakdown

The recruitment encompasses 268 posts across diverse technical trades. In addition to standard category reservations, 20 posts are horizontally reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and 38 posts for Ex-Servicemen (ESM).

3. Educational Qualifications

Qualifications must be acquired from Universities or Institutes accredited by UGC, AICTE, NCVT, NCVET, or SCTE and VT. Only full-time regular courses are considered valid.

Trade-Specific Requirements

• Operator (HEMM) Gr. III: 10th pass with ITI in Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) or Diesel Mechanic trade, apprenticeship certificate, and a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
• Mining Mate and Junior Foreman (Mines): 10th pass or Diploma in Mining Engineering paired with valid Mining Mate or Foreman Certificates of Competency issued by DGMS.
• Technician / SUPT (Electrical/Fitter/Instrumentation): 10th pass accompanied by an ITI (NCVT/NCVET) of two years duration in the relevant trade and a mandatory apprenticeship certificate.
• SUPT (JOT) - Laboratory: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Hons) strictly in Chemistry.

4. Age Limit Criteria

Age calculation is determined strictly as of 10th June 2026. The maximum upper age limit, including all statutory category relaxations, cannot exceed 56 years.

• Fresher Level (SUPT Posts): Maximum age for UR/EWS is 27 Years. Relaxable to 30 years for OBC (NCL) and 32 years for SC/ST.
• Experienced Level (Operator / Technician / Mining Mate Gr. III): Maximum age for UR/EWS is 35 Years.
• Experienced Level (Jr. Foreman Posts): Maximum age for UR/EWS is 40 Years.
• Category Relaxations: SC/ST candidates receive a 5-year relaxation, and OBC (NCL) candidates receive a 3-year relaxation. PwBD candidates are eligible for up to a 10-year age relaxation.

5. Pay Scale and Emoluments

• Stipend During SUPT Training: Rs. 12,000/- per month for the first 12 months.
• Stipend During JOT Training: Rs. 15,000/- per month for the subsequent 12 months, scaling to Rs. 15,500/- for the remaining training period.

• Induction Level (S0 Grade - Jr. Foreman): Rs. 36,500 to Rs. 1,15,000/- scale.

The selection framework is structured strictly on merit through a Computer Based Test (CBT) and a functional Trade Test for specific operational roles.

Computer Based Test (CBT) Structure

• Duration and Marking: The exam lasts 120 minutes and contains 100 Objective Multiple-Choice Questions carrying one mark each.
• Syllabus Division: 60% of the questions focus on domain-specific technical knowledge, while 40% cover non-technical sections (Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Knowledge, and English).
• Zero Negative Marking: There is absolutely no negative marking for incorrect answers. The test will be bilingual (English and Hindi).

1. Step I (Registration): Navigate to the career page on www.nalcoindia.com. Provide your active email ID and basic contact details to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
2. Step II (Application and Uploads): Log in using the generated credentials. Carefully input your academic history and personal details.
3. Document Scanning: Ensure you have digitized copies of your recent passport-size photograph, signature (in black/blue ink), left thumb impression, and the mandatory handwritten declaration.
4. Handwritten Declaration: Write the prescribed declaration text on white paper without using capital letters.
