Remuneration & Allowances

  • Consolidated Monthly Remuneration:
    • 1st Year: ₹ 40,000/-
    • 2nd Year: ₹ 45,000/-

  • Additional Allowances: A consolidated amount of ₹ 12,000/- per year will be paid towards the reimbursement of expenses like medical insurance premium, life insurance premium, uniforms, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.
  • Retention Bonus: Project Engineers who complete an overall tenure of 4 years will be entitled to a retention bonus of ₹ 25,000/- for every completed year. This total amount of ₹ 1,00,000/- will be payable only at the end of the 4th year.

Age Limit (As on 01.06.2026)

The upper age limit for General and EWS candidates is 32 Years. Age relaxations are applicable as per Government guidelines:

  • OBC Candidates: 3 Years relaxation (Upper age limit 35 years).
  • SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years relaxation (Upper age limit 37 years).
  • PwBD Candidates (minimum 40% disability): 10 Years relaxation in addition to their respective category relaxation.

4. Post Qualification Experience Requirements

All applicants must possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience as of 01.06.2026.

  • For PRE-I (SSI-2026): Experience in the installation and commissioning of Electronic/Electrical systems projects. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Data network, VSAT communication, RHEL operating systems/Server storage, and Voice & Video Networking.
  • For PRE-I (TSCS-2026): Experience in the installation and commissioning of Electronics/Electrical systems and integration of Electronic/Embedded systems for any projects.

Important Experience Guidelines

  • Only relevant post-qualification experience will be considered. Work experience gained prior to completing the required degree will not qualify.
  • Teaching/Research work, experience in non-profit organizations, and internship/project work placements (as part of academic curriculum) will not be considered as valid experience.
  • Candidates must possess clear experience certificates from previous and current employers indicating the exact period of employment and post held.

5. Selection Procedure & Syllabus Details

The selection process consists of two stages: a Written Test followed by a Personal Interview.

  • Written Test (85 Marks): Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be called for a Written Test.
  • Personal Interview (15 Marks): Candidates who clear the written test will be shortlisted for the interview in a ratio of 1:5 based on category-wise vacancies.
