3. Educational Qualifications & Experience
Aspirants must possess strict professional backgrounds in IT and hospital systems as evaluated on 19 June 2026.
1. ICT Engineer 1 (Hospital Management System)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 62 years.
- Qualification: Graduate in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience: Minimum 05 years of professional experience in the technical field of Hospital Management Systems. Must have experience handling the latest hospital software (Java, Oracle, etc.), databases, front ends, and cloud systems. Good command of the English language is required.
2. Junior ICT Engineer
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years.
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or MCA.
- Experience: Minimum 07 years of professional experience. Must have worked in at least 01 large hospital project and possess experience in planning/designing Hospital Information systems for larger than 100 beds. Knowledge of the latest hospital software, databases, and cloud systems is essential. Good command of English and Assamese language is required.
4. Contract Tenure & General Conditions
- Duration: Both positions have a tentative tenure of 12 Months. For the ICT Engineer 1 role, this 12-month requirement will be intermittent and spread across a 3-year project tenure.
- Status: Consultants hold the status of an "Independent Consultant" and are not considered staff members of RITES Limited.
- Payment Terms (ICT Engineer 1): Paid based on marked attendance (Rs. 7,560/day). Weekly offs and Gazetted Holidays between work periods are not paid. A minimum 7-day prior intimation will be given before utilizing services.
- Travel Reimbursement: Air travel expenses are reimbursed at actual cost strictly for the New Delhi - Guwahati (Round Trip) route when called upon.
- Leave Structure: Entitled to 1.5 days of leave for each completed month. No accumulation beyond a calendar year.
- Application Fee: The application fee for all categories is NIL.
