General Eligibility & Deputation Conditions Because these positions are filled strictly on a deputation/absorption basis, there are rigid bureaucratic prerequisites that all candidates must meet: Initial Deputation Term: The appointment on deputation will initially be for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Absorption Potential: The absorption of an officer/official into the NCLT can be considered only after one year of working on deputation, subject to satisfactory performance and NCLT’s operational needs. Absorption is not an automatic right. GPRA Facility Rules: Officers joining NCLT who are already availing General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) in their parent body are allowed to continue the benefit. However, officers not currently availing GPRA in their parent body will not be eligible to apply for it upon joining NCLT. Withdrawal Constraints: Candidates who apply for these posts will not be allowed to withdraw their applications subsequently. Candidates unwilling to join upon selection are strictly advised not to apply. Promotion Restrictions: Departmental officers in the feeder grade who are in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists are not eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion. 3. Post-Wise Specific Eligibility Criteria Candidates must hold analogous posts on a regular basis in their parent cadre or possess a specific number of years of regular service in the immediate lower pay matrix level. Registrar Profiles (Joint / Deputy / Assistant) Must be officers of the Central/State Governments, UTs, Courts, Tribunals, or Statutory Organizations. Joint Registrar: Must hold an analogous post OR Level 12 with 5 years regular service OR Level 11 with 10 years regular service. Must possess a Degree in Law and experience in personnel/administrative matters. Deputy Registrar: Must hold an analogous post OR Level 11 with 5 years regular service. Must possess a Degree in Law and experience in administrative/establishment/court matters. Assistant Registrar: Must hold an analogous post OR Level 9/10 with 5 years regular service OR Level 8 with 6 years regular service OR Level 7 with 7 years regular service.
