1. Important Dates & Action Timeline

Applicants must strictly adhere to the operational hours of the hospital's cash department. Any applications received after the deadline will be summarily rejected.

A total of 29 positions are distributed across 8 different paramedical and laboratory disciplines. The remuneration offered is a fixed consolidated monthly honorarium.

3. Age Limit & Common Pre-requisites

Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the general eligibility standards set by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for all 29 posts.

A. Age Limit

• The maximum age limit for all candidates applying for any of the above posts is 38 Years.

B. Mandatory Linguistic & Technical Requirements

• Language Proficiency: The candidate must have passed the Secondary School Examination (10th standard) or equivalent higher examination with Marathi as a subject, carrying a minimum of 50 marks.
• Computer Literacy: Candidates must possess a computer proficiency certificate such as DOEACC 'CCC' or 'O/A/B/C' level, or MS-CIT from Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, or any other equivalent Govt. recognized computer course.
  Relaxation Clause: If a candidate does not possess this certificate at the time of appointment, they must pass the MS-CIT examination and submit the certificate within one year from the date of joining.

4. Post-Wise Educational Qualifications

Each clinical and technical role carries highly specific degree and diploma mandates. Please review the criteria below carefully.

• 1. Neurology Technician: Must have passed a 3-year full-time degree course in BPMT (Bachelor of Paramedical Technology in Neurology) conducted by MUHS, and must have completed a 12-month internship.
• 2. Audio Cum Speech Therapist: Must hold a Degree in Audiology and Speech Therapy from a recognized university. Additionally, a minimum of 1 year of working experience in a speech/hearing clinic is required.
• 3. Dialysis Technician: Must possess a B.Sc. in Dialysis Technology from a recognized university OR must be 12th passed along with a 1 year / 6 months certificate course in Dialysis Technology.
• 4. Laboratory Assistant: Must hold a B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry. Note: Candidates will be required to pass a departmental Trade Test.
• 5. E.C.G. Technician: Must have passed 12th standard followed by a 3.5-year full-time BPMT degree in Cardio-Technology from MUHS OR must hold a B.Sc. in Physics with 6 months of practical ECG experience. Note: Candidates will be required to pass a departmental Trade Test.
• 6. Laboratory Technician: Must hold a B.Sc. Degree along with a D.M.L.T. diploma from MSBT/recognized university OR must be 12th passed followed by a Bachelor of Paramedical Technology in Laboratory Medicine from MUHS.
• 7. Pharmacist: Must possess a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from the State Board of Technical Education or a Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized university. The candidate must be registered with the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council.
• 8. X-Ray Technician:
  Preference 1: 12th pass + 3-year full-time BPMT degree in Radiology from MUHS + 6 months internship.
  Preference 2: B.Sc. degree + Diploma in Radiography + 1 year experience in X-Ray work at a diagnostic center/hospital.
  Preference 3: 12th Science/MCVC + Diploma in Radiography + 2 years experience in X-Ray work.
  Note: Candidates will be required to pass a departmental Trade Test.

5. Application Fee & Payment Process

The application framework requires a physical fee payment at the hospital premises. The fee is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

• Base Application Fee: ₹ 870/-
• GST (18%): ₹ 157/-
• Total Amount Payable: ₹ 1027/-
• Payment Location & Mode: Cashier Section (Room No. 15), Ground Floor, College Building, LTMG Hospital, Sion. The fee must be paid in cash.
• Payment Timing: Between 11:00 AM and 03:00 PM, exclusively on working days from 15 June 2026 to 24 June 2026 (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays).

6. Selection Procedure & Service Terms

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation maintains a strict, merit-based selection protocol for all contractual healthcare appointments.

• Selection Criteria: A preliminary merit list will be prepared based on the educational qualifications possessed by the candidate. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for a personal interview. The final selection will be based on the combined performance.
• Interview Intimation: Details regarding the interview venue, date, and time will be communicated to the candidates via the Email ID mentioned in their application form, at least two days prior to the interview. Candidates must attend at their own expense.
• Contractual Terms: This is a purely temporary appointment. Candidates cannot claim any right to permanent absorption in BMC services. A mandatory 1-day service break will be implemented every 90 days during the contract period.
• Leaves & Work Hours: Appointees are entitled to weekly offs and a maximum of 15 casual leaves per calendar year. No other leaves are permissible. Candidates must work in 3 rotational shifts across any department of the hospital and strictly adhere to biometric attendance protocols.
• Surety Bond: Selected candidates will be required to execute an agreement on an Rs. 500/- stamp paper at the time of joining. A 15-day prior notice is mandatory in case of resignation.

7. Step-by-Step Offline Application Protocol

The entire application process is entirely offline. Online submissions, emails, or postal dispatches will not be considered.

1. Pay the Fee: First, visit the Cashier Section (Room No. 15) on the ground floor of the College Building at LTMG Hospital, Sion between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM on a working day. Pay the total fee of Rs. 1027/- and securely retain the original receipt.
2. Prepare the Application: Download the official notification PDF and print the blank application form (Bio-Data format) provided at the end of the document.
3. Fill the Details: Fill in the application form manually in clear handwriting. Provide accurate details regarding your personal information, educational percentages, attempts to pass, and work experience. Ensure your mobile number and Email ID are active and clearly written.
4. Attach Documents: Attach the original fee payment receipt to your application form. Additionally, attach self-attested photocopies of all relevant educational certificates, mark sheets, registration certificates (like Pharmacy Council), MS-CIT certificate, 10th standard Marathi proof, and experience letters.
5. Physical Submission: Submit the completely filled application form, along with the attached receipt and document copies, by hand directly at the Inward-Outward (आवक जावक) Department of L.T.M.G. Hospital, Sion.
6. Strict Deadline: Ensure the submission is completed before 05:30 PM on 24 June 2026. Applications received after this time, or sent via post/courier, will be summarily rejected.
