Since this is a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE), external candidates are strictly not eligible.

A. Service Requirements

  • Status: Must be a permanent or regularly appointed temporary Group 'C' employee having a Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.
  • Length of Service: Must have rendered not less than three years' regular service as a Group 'C' employee with Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 as on the crucial date of 01.08.2025.

B. Educational & Skill Qualifications

  • Education: Must have passed the 12th standard examination from a recognized Board or equivalent.
  • Type-writing Test: Candidates shall have to pass one of the periodical type-writing tests held by SSC at a minimum speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi on a manual typewriter, OR 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer (within one year of appointment), failing which annual increments will not be allowed.
