MECL Recruitment Age Limit
- The maximum age limit for all advertised posts is 30 years for UR and EWS candidates as on the cut-off date (1 September 2026).
- Upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates.
- For PwD candidates, the age limit is relaxable by 10 years (UR), 13 years (OBC-NCL), and 15 years (SC/ST).
- Retrenched ex-contingent workmen of MECL receive a relaxation up to 20 years.
MECL Educational Qualifications & Experience
Note: The minimum qualifying marks in the essential qualification for all Direct Recruitment is 45% (except where a simple pass is prescribed, like CA/ICWA Inter). Post-qualification experience is required for several technical posts.

Selection Process
